THE STORYLINE
Following an 8-day break for final exams, Bradley will begin a two-game, East Coast road swing Thursday night at George Washington ... Playing their fourth game away from home this season, the Braves will be looking for their first win away from home under first-year head coach Geno Ford ... Thursday's game will be the fifth in the all-time series between Bradley and George Washington and the home team has won each of the first four meetings for a 2-2 split ... Bradley boasts several notable Washington, D.C. connections:  Ray LaHood '71 (U.S. Secretary of Transportation); Robert H. Michel '48 (retired Congressman was the longest-serving Republican leader of the U.S. House of Representatives); Bryan Namoff '02 (retired player for D.C. United MLS team); Wendy Ross '64 (retired assistant managing editor Washington Post); Aaron Schock '02 (youngest Congressman, 18th District of Illinois); General John Schalikashvili '58 (late Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff); and Bradley University President Joanne Glasser is a George Washington University aluma.

DECEMBER ROAD TESTS
Bradley will play the second and third of five December road games when the Braves visit George Washington Thursday and Drexel Saturday ... The 2011-12 season marks the first in Bradley's 108-year men's basketball history the Braves will have played five true road games in the month of December ... Bradley played a total of five December road games the last two seasons:  2009 (three), 2010 (two) ... The Braves previously have played five games away from home in December, most recently in 2002 with three games at the Rainbow Classic.

PREVIEWING DREXEL
Bradley will visit preseason Colonial Athletic Association favorite Drexel Saturday afternoon for the return game of the 2010 BracketBusters ... Bradley is 2-0 all-time against the Dragons, but both of the previous meetings were played at Carver Arena ... At 3-4 overall, Drexel has started slow, but like George Washington, the Dragons have faced a road-heavy start to the season ... Drexel did not play a home game until Saturday (Princeton) and the game against the Braves will be its second home game this year.
