at Bradley (2009-13)
Originally slated to redshirt his freshman season in 2009-10, injuries forced him into action late in the non-conference portion of the season and he steadily worked his way into the regular rotation ... Started 34 of Bradley's 35 games as a senior in 2012-13, finishing third on the team by averaging 30.9 minutes per game ... Enjoyed a 1.9 assists-to-turnover ratio in his career and never coughed it more than three times in his 118 career games ... Scored the game-winning basket on a layup with 0.9 seconds remaining Feb. 23 at Illinois-Chicago ... Twice earned a spot on the MVC Scholar-Athlete second team.

At Douglas Freeman H.S.
Scored more than 1,300 points during his high school career ... Averaged 16 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists as a senior, leading the Rebels to a 21-5 record ... As a freshman in 2005-06, Eastman helped Douglas Freeman to the Virginia AAA Colonial District championship and a spot in the region tournament ... In addition to earning four varsity basketball letters, Eastman played one year of football, registering both a touchdown and an interception.

Coaching Connection
Eastman's father, Kevin, is an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics and helped the Celtics to the 2008 NBA World Championship ... The elder Eastman, who played collegiately at Richmond, previously served as the head coach at North Carolina-Wilmington (1990-94) and Washington State (1994-99).

Personal Peoria Ties
Although Eastman grew up on both coasts, he has family ties to both Bradley and Peoria ... Eastman's maternal grandmother, Caryl MacDiarmid Haynes, grew up in Peoria, graduated from Central High School and began her college education at Bradley before transferring to Purdue.
