PEORIA, Ill. -- After suffering a pair of four-set road losses on the first Missouri Valley Conference road trip of the season over the weekend, the Bradley volleyball team returns home to open a three-match homestand Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match against Loyola.

Bradley (4-10 overall) plays six of the next 10 matches and nine of the next 15 overall at home.  The three-match homestand also includes contests against Southern Illinois (Friday) and Evansville (Saturday).  The Braves opened Missouri Valley Conference play with four consecutive matches against team's picked to finish in the top five according to the 2010 preseason coaches' poll.  BU's last five opponents dating back to the Sept. 11 home match against Valparaiso own a combined 57-16 (.781) record.

Loyola (6-7 overall) brings a three-match losing streak into Tuesday's contest after falling in four sets to cross-town rival Illinois-Chicago Saturday.  Bradley is the fourth Missouri Valley Conference team on the schedule for the Ramblers, who defeated Indiana State at home in four sets in addition to suffering three-set losses at Illinois State and at Evansville.

Junior Rachelle Dejean (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) led the Braves in digs each of the last two matches and moved up two spots on BU's career digs list into 17th place with her season-best, 16-dig effort Saturday at Creighton.  She is 24 digs from taking over 15th in school history and needs 26 digs to become the 15th player in program history to reach 900 career digs with 426.

Senior Caitlin Staib (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) matched a season and career best with 12 kills at Drake Friday and has paced the Braves in kills each of the last two outings.  Staib is the most experienced player on the roster, having appeared in 96 matches in her career and now ranks 39th in school history in career kills.

Live stats for Tuesday's match against Loyola will be available at the link provided above.  A subscription video stream and free audio stream will also be available at the Live Event link on the Bradley Athletics website (www.BradleyBraves.com).
