2012-13 (Sophomore): Earned All-Region Cross Country honors after placing 22nd at the NCAA Regional … Awarded the Missouri Valley Conference Elite 18 Award at the MVC Indoor Track and Field Championship … Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the 10,000 meters during the outdoor season, placing 26th in the event … Took home all-conference honors in cross country for the second consecutive year, following a fifth-place finish at the MVC Championship … Placed third in the indoor 5,000 meters and outdoor 10,000 meters at the Valley Track and Field Championships, garnering all-conference honors for both … First-Team MVC Scholar-Athlete … Was Bradley’s top finisher in four of six cross country outings and was one of the Braves’ top two finishers in all six meets … Opened the cross country season with a sixth-place finish at the Bradley Open and took fourth at the Illinois Intercollegiates … Her fifth-place finish at the MVC Championship was the best by a Bradley runner since 2009 and 22nd place finish at the NCAA Regional was the best since 2002 … Her career-best 5K time of 17:40 at the Illinois Intercollegiates ranks as the third-best time in school history … Career-best 6K time of 21:24.69 at the NCAA Regional is also third in school history and best effort since 2002 … Also scored in the indoor 3,000 meters (4th place) and outdoor 5,000 meters (4th place) at the MVC Track and Field Championships … Improved career-best 3,000 and 5,000 meter times during the indoor season, finishing less than four seconds off the school-record 3,000 meter time … Posted the third fastest 3,000 meter time in school history in the outdoor season and was less than three seconds from breaking the school record in the 10,000 meters … Also owns the second fastest 5,000 meter time in program history. 

2011-12 (Freshman): Named Bradley's B-Club Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year ... Finished seventh at the MVC Championship, to become just the third freshman in program history to earn All-Missouri Valley Conference honors ... Also earned all-conference honors in the 5,000 meters at both the MVC indoor & outdoor championships ... Was BU's top finisher in five of six races, including the MVC Championship and NCAA Midwest Regional ... Placed in the top seven in each of her first two collegiate outings and three of six races overall as a freshman ... Her season-best 5K time of 17:57 at the Illinois Intercollegiate was the fifth-best 5K performance in school history ... Turned in the ninth-best 6K effort in school history with a 21:58.06 at the Bradley Classic ... Placed 59th at the NCAA Midwest Regional ... Earned Junior All-American honors after finishing eighth at the USA Junior National Cross Country Championships ... Joined Mary Ellen Hill as the only two runners in school history to run sub 10-minute times in the 3,000 meters in both indoor and outdoor track ... High School: A four-year letterwinner, McMahon placed second in both the 800 and 1,600 meters at the WIAA Division III Championship as a senior ... Also finished third in the 3,200 meters in her final prep season ... A four-time all-conference performer in cross country, she was a two-time all-state selection ... Personal: The daughter of Todd and Denise McMahon, Sarah was born in Eau Claire, Wis. ... Has an older brother Nathan (21) ... Plans to major in English.
