Quoting Jim DeRose
"Jason played his club soccer for the Chicago Sockers FC and comes with a strong attacking mentality. Over the past year or so he is really developing an overall attacking mentality that includes using his 1-v-1 attacking ability and coupling that with good decisions in possession and combination play.  He is a dynamic two-way midfielder that has the athleticism, speed and endurance to help us in a wide midfield role.  Jason is a strong athlete that can be dangerous going forward, but also will have the ability to recover defensively."

at Vernon Hills High School
An all-conference selection as a freshman, Lesch turned his attention to club soccer during his final three years of high school.

Club Soccer
Plays for the Sockers FC Chicago program ... Helped his team to the finals of the 2010 U.S. Academy U16 Nationals and a runner-up finish at the 2010 Disney Soccer Showcase.

Personal
The son of Jim and Debra Lesch, Jason was born March 4, 1994 ... Plans to major in business or computer technology.
