High School: A two-time all-district performer, Mustain averaged 8.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and one block per game as a junior ... She helped the Lady Jays to back-to-back district championships as a sophomore and junior ... Also lettered in softball and track, garnering all-state honors in the shot put (2010) and discus (2011 & 2012) ... Finished third in the state in the discus, in addition to holding the Jefferson City High School record in the event. 

Personal: The daughter of William and Diana Mustain, Shelby was born in Centralia, Mo. ... Plans to major in public relations.
