PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Athletics has announced a 3-year partnership with Prairie Farms Dairy, one of the leading dairy companies in the Midwest, which will support the performance of the school's student-athletes by providing product to the Sport Performance program through 2015.
"We are excited about our partnership with Prairie Farms because it will contribute directly to the performance of our student-athletes" said Bradley Director of Athletics Dr. Michael Cross. "Chocolate milk is an important component of post-workout recovery and having Prairie Farms products available for all of our student-athletes will help provide the proper nutrition necessary for peak performance. Bradley's teams are very enthusiastic about Prairie Farms milk being readily available to them."
Prairie Farms will supply the Sport Performance program with low-fat chocolate milk, which is used as a post-workout recovery drink, for the approximately 215 student-athletes representing Bradley's 15 men's and women's NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, Prairie Farms receives the right to promote its Low-Fat Chocolate Milk by serving as the presenting sponsor of the "comparative team stats" video board element during Bradley women's basketball games at Renaissance Coliseum. Prairie Farms also will receive customized venue digital signage, print venue signage, print advertising and website recognition on BradleyBraves.com.
“While awareness of chocolate milk’s recovery benefits is on the rise, we still have a lot of opportunities to drive demand for chocolate milk,” said Bill Montgomery, Director of Advertising and Promotion for Prairie Farms. “Our new partnership with Bradley Athletics will help us position Prairie Farms Chocolate Milk as a delicious, nutritious, protein-packed alternative to other recovery beverages.”
