PEORIA, Ill. – A staple of the annual basketball preseason schedule will return to campus for the second consecutive year Thursday night when Bradley hosts the annual Meet the Braves Spaghetti Supper at Renaissance Coliseum.  This year’s event will be a “double-feature,” however, as the popular dinner event will coincide with the women’s basketball exhibition game versus Lindenwood.

Though ticket prices for the Meet the Braves Spaghetti Supper have remained unchanged from recent years - $12 adults, $6 kids (12 and under) and $30 for a Family Pack – dinner tickets to Thursday night’s event also include admission to the women’s basketball game.

Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Thursday night on Mitchell “JJ” Anderson Court in the Basketball Performance Center within Renaissance Coliseum.  The women’s basketball team will be introduced at 5:15 before they begin warming up for their game.  The men’s team will be available to interact with the crowd throughout the dinner and will be introduced at 5:45.

The Bradley women’s basketball team will play its lone public exhibition game against Lindenwood at 6:30 Thursday night in the Renaissance Coliseum arena.  Under the direction of first-year head coach Michael Brooks, the Braves return eight letterwinners, including three starters, from the 2011-12 squad that finished 18-16 overall and advanced to the second round of the Women’s Basketball Invitational for the second time in three years.

In addition to free admission with Spaghetti Supper tickets, individual game tickets for Thursday’s exhibition (excludes dinner) are $8 for adults and $4 for children, as well as Bradley faculty and staff.  Bradley students receive free admission for women’s basketball games at Renaissance Coliseum.

Tickets for both events are on sale in advance at the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office (309-677-2625).  Additional men’s basketball events also now on sale include Saturday’s exhibition game versus Wisconsin-Parkside at Carver Arena, the Nov. 12 regular-season game versus Texas-Pan American at Renaissance Coliseum, the Valley 8-Pack mini season-ticket package and the FAN-tastic 4-Pack bundle for tickets against Eastern Illinois (Nov. 9), #5 Michigan (Dec. 1), Wichita State (Jan. 6) and Illinois State (Jan. 29).
