Craig Dahlquist is in his 28th year at Bradley, the longest tenure of any current athletic department staff member, and his 21st year in the administrative ranks, where he currently holds the position of Senior Associate Athletic Director for Finance & Administration.

 

His duties include the monitoring of all financial activity in the department, supervision of the athletic training and strength and conditioning programs, as well as department operational activities. 

 

A native of Arlington Heights, Ill., Dahlquist graduated from Monmouth College in 1978 and received his master’s degree from Western Illinois University in 1982.

 

Dahlquist previously served as Bradley’s head track and field coach from 1986 to 1996 and first assumed a joint administrative post in 1990.  During his ten years of coaching, Dahlquist also served as an instructor in the Department of Health and Movement Science, as the Athletic Business Manager and Assistant Ticket Manager.

 

Externally, he is actively involved with the St. Mark’s Parish athletic youth program, and as a certified USA Track & Field Official; serving as a volunteer official during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

 

Dahlquist and his wife, the former Patricia Carew, are the parents of seven children; Carey (21), Molly (18), Amanda (16), Martin (13), Michael (9) and Ellen (6).  Their eldest son, Danny, passed away in August 2007.
