Brittney Jarvie, who has served as the men's basketball academic advisor at Bowling Green State University the last two seasons, joined the Bradley Athletics staff in February 2012 as Coordinator of Student-Athlete Services.

In her position, Jarvie serves as an academic coordinator and oversees the Student-Athlete Affairs program (formerly CHAMPS/LifeSkills).  Her duties also include oversight of the study hall program, serving as the staff liaison to the Braves Council student-athlete advisory board, planning special events and coordinating the athletic department's community service activities.

Jarvie has a diverse experience in sports early in her career.  Prior to joining the Bradley staff, she was a Student-Athlete Services Intern at Bowling Green, where she focused on academic advising and mentoring for the men's basketball team.   She has also worked as a Sports Information Intern for the Ohio High School Athletic Association, a staff writer for the Sentinel Tribune and in ticket sales for the Montgomery (Ala.) Biscuits minor league baseball club.

After earning her bachelor's degree in education in sport management from Bowling Green in 2010, Jarvie received her master's degree in sport administration from BGSU in 2011.  During her postgraduate studies, she received the 2011 HMSLS Mary Ann Robertson Outstanding Master's Project Award for her project entitled " The Perceptions and Effects of Community Service Participation among Intercollegiate Male Basketball Players."  She also served as a co-presenter at the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) in July of 2011.
