Honors & Awards:  2008 Coach Joe Stowell Award 

Overview: A three-time letterwinner, Bishop will once again compete for the #2 spot in the Braves rotation and see action both as a starter and out of the bullpen.

2007 Season (Junior): Appeared in 11 games, including six starts ... Allowed one earned run over five innings to pick up a complete game win Feb. 25 against IUPUI ... Threw a complete game March 10 against Illinois State ... Struck out a season-high five batters while walking none March 28 against Butler ... Threw 1.2 scoreless innings in a relief appearance against Wichita State April 21.

2006 Season (Sophomore): Appeared in 11 games, making a total of eight starts ... Threw six complete games, including a complete-game three-hit shutout against Northern Illinois in her season debut ... Also picked up a victory against North Florida, surrendering just one earned run in seven innings ... Struck out a season-high four batters out of the bullpen against Illinois State

2005 Season (Freshman): Broke the school season record for relief appearances, making 18 appearances out of the bullpen ... Led the team with two saves and ranked second on the team in ERA, wins, appearances, innings pitched and strikeouts ... Picked up her first career victory against Rider, pitching five shutout innings ... Also picked up complete game wins against Butler and Fairleigh Dickinson ... Struck out a season-high seven batters in her collegiate debut against Kent State ... Earned a save against Virginia, tossing two shutout innings out of the bullpen ... Picked up a win and save in a doubleheader against Loyola, giving up five hits in 5.1 innings of work in the two games against the Ramblers.

High School: Earned four letters in softball and three in basketball ... Named the Most Outstanding Athlete for Del Campo High School as a senior ... The team captain, she garnered first-team all-conference honors as a senior and was also named to the Northern California All-Star team ... Led the team with a .364 batting average, while posting a team-best 0.25 ERA ... Also led the team in RBI and strikeouts (107) ... Was also the team captain in basketball as a senior, when she earned honorable mention all-conference honors and helped her team to a conference title.

Personal: The daughter of Barbara and Alan Bishop, Rebecca was born Jan. 14, 1986 in Sacramento, Calif. ... Has an older sister: Kristen (25) ... Majoring in dietetics ... Named to the Bradley Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in six of her seven semesters at Bradley.
