PEORIA, Ill. - With no television broadcasts available, the Bradley Department of Athletics will partner with the Braves Club in hosting a pair of viewing parties for next weekend's games in the final two rounds of the 2009 HoopTV Las Vegas Invitational.
Bradley will take on Oklahoma State in a 7 p.m. CST tipoff Friday night, followed by Illinois against Utah. Friday's losers will meet in the 7 p.m. game Saturday night, followed by the winners at 9:30. Bradley will show the internet video streams of the action from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas onto three projector screens in the ballroom of the Michel Student Center Friday and Saturday nights. Chips and popcorn will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Braves Club members presenting their membership card may attend the event at no charge, while non-members are invited to attend for a $10 fee each night. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
Bradley will begin play in the HoopTV Las Vegas Invitational Sunday night when the Braves (1-1) host Southern Conference member Wofford (2-1) in a 6:05 p.m. tip at Carver Arena. The Braves also will host Presbyterian Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. before heading to Las Vegas for the final two rounds.
