ST. LOUIS - Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick H.S.) was voted to the five-player all-tournament team for the 2010 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, according to a vote of media covering the event this past weekend in St. Louis.

Maniscalco averaged 20.5 ppg during Bradley's two-games in the tournament, scoring a tourney-best 31 points in a quarterfinal victory Friday versus Creighton.  In that 81-62 Bradley win, Maniscalco set the school record for free throws made in a MVC Tournament game by sinking 18-of-19 from the stripe to highlight his career-best scoring performance.  He became just the fifth Bradley player to ever score at least 30 points in a MVC Tournament game and his 31-point effort was the most by any player at Arch Madness since Creighton's Nate Funk scored 33 against Missouri State in 2007.

The 6-foot point guard, who committed only two turnovers in 68 Arch Madness minutes, added 10 points in Saturday's 57-40 semifinal loss to eventual champion UNI.  In that game versus the Panthers, Maniscalco set the Missouri Valley Conference record for the most career games by a three-year player by taking the floor for the 105th time in his Braves career.  He ended the tournament 22-of-23 (.957) from the free throw line, pushing his career marksmanship in five all-time MVC Tournament games to 41-of-42 (.976) for the best career percentage by any player to attempt more than 20 free throws in MVC Tournament history.

Maniscalco was joined on the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament all-tournament team by Most Outstanding Player Kwadzo Ahelegbe of UNI, along with UNI center Jordan Eglseder and the Wichita State tandem of Clevin Hannah and Garrett Stutz.
