The championship features seven singles flights and three flights of doubles play. Singles Flights 1-6 will feature two pools of three individuals with the top two in each pool advancing to their respective flights semifinals. Flight 7 singles will feature an 11-person draw with a consolation bracket. Doubles play will mirror Singles Flights 1-6 with two, three-team pools and the winners advancing to the semifinals in each flight.
Sophomore Juan Cuadrado (Almeria, Spain/I.E.S. Alboran) finished off a strong fall, playing in the main draw of the USTA/ITA Central Regional Championship and will represent the Braves in Flight 1 singles where he is expected to face Illinois State's Timon Reichelt in his first match.
Freshman Hamish Weerasinghe (Edina, Minn./Edina) combined for 14 singles and doubles victores in the fall and is slated to play in Flight 2 singles. Weerasinghe is scheduled to face Wichita State's Patrick Stiebringer in his opening round match.
In Flight 3 singles, sophomore Eric Nguyen (Ottawa, Ontario/John Rennie) will likely see Drake's Jean Erasmus in the first match of pool play. Nguyen led the team with nine singles victories (9-3) in the fall and joined Cuadrado in the main draw of the USTA/ITA Central Regional Championship.
Freshman Ashton Kalhorn (Colorado Springs, Colo./Coronado [Nev.]) will play in Flight 4 singles for Bradley and is scheduled to face David Cavalcanti of Wichita State in his first match. Fellow freshman Arthur Romanet (Castelldefels, Spain/Schiller International School) is scheduled to play Illinois State's Tuomas Manner in his first match in Flight 5 singles.
Flight 6 singles will feature freshman Justin Abrams (Eagan, Minn./Eagan) who ranked second on the team with seven singles victories in the fall. Abrams will likely square off with Illinois State's Mya Smith-Dennis in his opening match. Freshman Devon Manning (Rock Island, Ill./Alleman) rounds out singles action for Bradley in Flight 7 singles and will face Orhan Spahic of Southern Illinois in his first match.
In doubles play, Nguyen and Weerasinghe combined for a 7-2 fall record and will represent the Braves in Flight 1 doubles play. The Flight 2 doubles bracket features the duo of Kalhorn and Abrams playing together for the first time and Flight 3 doubles also feature a first time pairing, with Cuadrado and Romanet competing together.
