An all-conference selection as a junior in 2011, Scheuermann helped Palatine High School to the 2011 Barrington Regional championship after leading the Pirates to the Mid-Suburban League North Division title.

The son of Michael and Colette Scheuermann, Eric was born March 25, 1994 in Evanston, Ill.
