EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Junior midfielder Keegan Balle converted a penalty kick for the second game in a row, but his go-ahead strike in the 81st minute did not hold up as Bradley (2-1-2) and Cincinnati (1-3-1) played to a 1-1 draw Friday evening in the first game of the Evansville ProRehab Aces Classic at Arad McCutchan Stadium.

Bradley's constant second-half pressure paid off when the Braves drew a penalty kick at 80:58 and Balle buried the opportunity for a 1-0 lead.  The advantage was short-lived, however, as the Bearcats got an immediate answer when Shamar Shelton scorerd on an off-balanced shot from outside the box at 82:02.

Bradley finished with a narrow, 16-15 edge in shots, but the Braves forced the only seven corner kicks of the first half and ended the game with a 12-4 advantage in corners.  Despite the persistent offensive pressure, the Braves managed just six shots on goal and Cincinnati keeper Taylor Hafling turned away five of those chances.  Brian Billings saved six of Cincinnati's seven shots on goal.

The draw was Bradley's third overtime game in the season's first five games and the Braves are 0-1-2 in extra time so far this season.

Bradley will continue a 5-game stretch away from home by wrapping up the ProRehab Aces Classic at noon Sunday against Portland.  The Pilots were scheduled to face host Evansville in Friday's tournament nightcap, but the game was cancelled due to area thunderstorms.
