PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley’s nine individual players finished the Bradley Invitational off strong, going 12-2 record on Sunday afternoon at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
After going 13-5 in the first round of singles play on Saturday, Bradley dominated singles action on Sunday to finish with a 27-7 overall record.
Five Bradley players finished the tournament unbeaten after going 2-0 on Sunday. Ahmed Albitar only went 1-0 on Sunday after his third round match was not played to finish the tournament at 3-0. As well as Albitar, Bradley’s other undefeated players Sunday were Hamish Weeransinghe (Flight 2), Arthur Romanet (Flight 4), Eric Nguyen (Flight 5), and Michael Davis (Flight 8).

Bradley will return to action next weekend by hosting a similar event, the Bradley Classic, at the Markin and Bradley Park courts. Next week’s field will include the Braves, DePauw, IUPUI, Saint Louis and South Dakota State. The Bradley Classic will begin with round-robin doubles play at 3 p.m. Friday and will continue with round-robin singles action Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. both days.
