NORMAL, Ill. -- Senior Amy Angelos (Waukegan, Ill./Waukegan) had 13 kills and sophomore Madison Kamp (Orland Park, Ill./Chicago Christian) notched her team-leading seventh double-double of the year, but Illinois State recorded 14 blocks and limited Bradley to a .113 attack percentage in a four-set loss for the Braves Saturday at Redbird Arena.

Illinois State (8-6 overall, 2-2 MVC) took the match 25-16, 21-25, 25-14, 25-17 as the Braves dropped to 6-8 overall and 0-3 in Valley play with the loss.

Ashley Rosch led a high-powered Redbird attack in the opening set, tallying seven of her match-high 22 kills in the first frame and helped the Redbirds hit .382 in the set.  Rosch had four kills during an 8-4 ISU spurt to close out the 25-16 Redbird win.

Bradley rebounded to take the second set 25-21 to pull even in the match.  The Braves scored the first four points of the set and raced out to a commanding 17-9 lead.  Illinois State had five blocks during an 9-2 run to pull within a point (19-18), but BU regained control and closed the set with a kill and block by senior Madelyn Ervin (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy).

With the score knotted at 7-7 in the third set, Illinois State seized the momentum with an 11-2 run, which included four kills and a block by Rosch.  The Redbirds went on to take the set 25-14.

Much like the third set, Illinois used a run midway through the fourth to take control and went on to close the match with a 25-17 victory.  Tied at 7-7, Rosch had three kills and an ace during a 9-2 ISU run which put the Redbirds in front 16-9.  Bradley got within five points down the stretch, but Rosch ended the match with back-to-back kills for ISU and finished with a match-high 22 kills.

Angelos was the only BU player to reach double figures in kills, finishing with 13.  Kamp added 30 assists and 11 digs for her team-leading seventh double-double of the season, while junior Lauren Zerante (Elmhurst, Ill./York) collected 11 of her match-high 23 digs in the fourth set to help lead the Braves.

Bradley will play six of its next eight matches at Renaissance Coliseum beginning Friday with a 7 p.m. matchup against Wichita State.
