O’FALLON, Ill. – The Bradley tandem of Adele Henke and Corey Mattson earned an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles, but that was the only win the Braves (0-2) managed Saturday during a 7-0 loss to Saint Louis (3-1) at the St. Clair Tennis Club.

Bradley narrowly missed on claiming the day’s doubles point, but the duo of Carly Miles and Kennedy Scott could not pull out their match at No. 3, dropping a 9-8 decision.

Mattson had the best opportunity for a singles win versus Mia Elmore at No. 2, but after taking the first set, 6-4, Mattson dropped the final two sets, 6-3 and 10-5.

The Braves will return to action Sunday morning with an 11 o’clock match at SIU Edwardsville.
