PEORIA, Ill. – Wichita State rolled to a 6-1 Missouri Valley Conference men’s tennis victory Saturday at Clubs at River City North, spoiling the final home match of the season for Bradley.
The Braves fall to 12-9 overall and 0-3 in The Valley, while Wichita State improves to 13-7 overall, 2-1 in league play
Sophomore Ahmed Albitar picked up Bradley’s lone point of the day, earning a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
Bradley will close out the 2013 regular-season with a 3-match swing through Nebraska and Iowa next weekend. The Braves will visit Omaha in a non-conference match Friday evening, then take on Valley rivals Creighton Saturday and Drake April 21. The MVC Men’s Tennis Championship will be played April 26-28 at Wichita State.
