OMAHA, Neb. – Bradley (14-9, 1-3 MVC) extended its longest winning streak in its men’s tennis series against departing Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton (7-9, 0-4 MVC), earning its sixth consecutive win against the host Bluejays with a 6-1 victory Saturday afternoon at the Koch Tennis Center.

Among Saturday’s highlights, senior Juan Diego Cuadrado moved into a tie for third on Bradley’s all-time singles victories list with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at No. 1 singles. Cuadrado is 71-64 all-time as a singles player at Bradley, equaling the third-most wins in program history and the most since Mike Berwald earned his record 79th singles victory in 1991.

Cuadrado also teamed with Hamish Weerasinghe for an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles and the Braves earned the match’s first point when Justin Abrams and Arthur Romanet added an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles.

In addition to Cuadrado’s win at No. 1 singles, Bradley got straight-set victories from Ahmed Albitar (No. 2 singles), Weerasinghe (No. 3) and Abrams (No. 6) to secure the team victory. Ashton Kalhorn added a 3-set win at No. 4 singles for the sixth point.

Bradley will wrap up the 2013 regular season with an 11 a.m. match Sunday at Drake.
