PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley fans will have a chance to hear from Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner Doug Elgin when the Braves Club hosts its second Game Day Luncheon of the season Tuesday at Renaissance Coliseum.
Tickets still remain for Tuesday's Braves Club Game Day Luncheon, presented by Herget Bank and may be reserved by contacting the Braves Club Office at 309-677-2667. Individual luncheon tickets are $20 for Braves Club members and $25 for non-members and Tuesday's event will include a speaking program featuring Elgin and third-year Bradley Basketball head coach Geno Ford in advance of Tuesday night's home game versus IPFW.
The second of the season's four Braves Club Game Day Luncheons, Tuesday's event will be hosted on Mitchell “JJ” Anderson Court in the Renaissance Coliseum Basketball Performance Center, allowing for convenient, covered parking in the adjacent Main Street Parking Deck. Buffet style lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the speaking programs will begin at noon.
Following Tuesday's gathering, Southern Illinois head coach Barry Hinson, a longtime fan favorite at the Braves Club Game Day Luncheons, will join Ford at the podium Jan. 17 prior to that night’s game against the Salukis. The final Braves Club Game Day Luncheon will be Feb. 21, the day before the Feb. 22 game versus Loyola Chicago, and will spotlight the 2014 Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class.
