FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Bradley freshman Ariel Dechter won both her singles and doubles matches, but the Braves (1-2) suffered a 5-2 loss at IPFW (3-3) in women's tennis action Friday evening at Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club.

Dechter teamed with Cassia Wojtalik for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles, but the victory came after the Mastodons already had claimed the doubles point with victories by their Nos. 1 and 2 teams.

IPFW nailed down the win by taking the next three points with wins at Nos. 5, 1 and 4 singles before freshman Ashley Thai put the Braves on the board with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph at No. 3 singles. Dechter picked up her 12th singles win of the year with a 6-1, 6-4 win victory at No. 2 singles.

The Braves will remain in Fort Wayne for another match Saturday morning against Toledo, then will return home for a pair of matches next weekend versus Eastern Illinois (Friday) and Northern Illinois (Feb. 22).
