FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Freshman Ashley Thai missed out on a 2-0 day by one point in doubles action, but Toledo (5-3) earned the 6-1 dual match win against the Bradley women's tennis team Saturday morning at the Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club.

Thai teamed with senior Adele Henke at No. 1 doubles and the Bradley duo came up just short in their bid to prevent a Toledo sweep of doubles play, falling 8-7. While the Rockets swept through the first five singles matches, Thai fought through a tight match against Emily Mazzola for a 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 win at No. 3 singles to even her overall season record at 10-10, while improving to 3-1 in the spring season's dual meet play.

The Braves (1-3) will return home next weekend for two matches against a pair of in-state rivals: Friday versus Eastern Illinois (12 p.m.) and Satuday against Northern Illinois (1 p.m.). Both matches are tentatively scheduled for the indoor courts at the Clubs at River City.
