TOLEDO, Ohio - In a battle of short-handed teams, Toledo (6-15) had just enough in the tank to pull out a 4-3 men's tennis win against visiting Bradley (3-9) Saturday afternoon at Shadow Valley Tennis Club.

With Toledo unable to field a No. 3 doubles team, Bradley secured the match's first point when Justin Abrams and Nico Rakitin earned an 8-7 win at No. 2 doubles. The Braves made it 2-0 when Dan Rodefeld was credited with a forfeit win at No. 6 singles.

The only other point the Braves would capture, however, came at No. 4 singles, where Daniel Tiboldi earned a 7-5, 6-2 victory. Bradley continued to play without redshirting junior Ahmed Albitar and injured senior Arthur Romanet.

Bradley will continue its spring break travels with a 4-match swing through the South, beginning Wednesday with a 2 p.m. dual at Troy.
