ATLANTA - The Bradley men's tennis team dropped a pair of road matches to wrap up their spring break trip, losing a 4-1 decision at Georgia State (8-11) in the morning, followed by a 4-0 afternoon loss at Kennesaw State (8-5).
Bradley's lone point in the two matches was the first of the day as the Braves (3-13) won two of the three doubles matches to start the Georgia State match. Freshmen Dan Rodefeld and Nico Rakitin earned an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles. After GSU pulled even by winning the No. 2 doubles match, seniors Justin Abrams and Hamish Weerasinghe secured the point with an 8-7 (7-1) tie-break win at No. 1 doubles.
Bradley will return home to open its Missouri Valley Conference schedule April 3 against Southern Illinois on campus at the David Markin Tennis Courts, before returning to the road for three more matches.
