PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior women's golfer Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) was named a First-Team Capital One Academic All-District V selection according to an announcement by the College Sports Information Directors of America.  Amundrud earned academic all-district honors for the third time in her career and will be considered for Capital One Academic All-America honors. 

Bradley has had a women's golfer earn academic all-district honors for the seventh consecutive year and Amundurd is the first three-time academic all-district honoree in program history. 

A three-time First-Team Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete, Amundrud earned all-conference honors twice in her career and was the 2010-11 MVC Golfer of the Year.  She battled a season-long back injury to finish third on the team with a 78.3 stroke average in 2011-12 and tied for 22nd at the State Farm MVC Championship in her final season on The Hilltop. 

Amundrud finished out her career with the lowest stroke average in school history (77.11) and a school-record 87 rounds in the 70's.  This season she finished in the top 20 in three of nine tournaments and shared MVC Golfer of the Week honors after tying for sixth at the Lady Moc Classic to open the spring schedule.  Amundrud's 78.3 stroke average is the 14th best season average in school history and she owns three of the top 10 along with four of the top 14 season stroke averages at Bradley. 

A six-time MVC Golfer of the Week selection during her career, she garnered Third-Team Capital One Academic All-America honors last year as a junior and was a second-team academic all-district pick as a sophomore.  An accounting major, Amundrud owns a 3.94 cumulative grade point average.  

To be eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and reached sophomore athletic and academic standings in order to be nominated.
