DES MOINES, Iowa - Freshman Carly Miles cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles, but that was the only point Bradley (3-13, 0-2 MVC) earned in a 6-1 Missouri Valley Conference women's tennis loss at Drake (18-4, 2-0 MVC) Friday evening at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

While Miles earned her first career Valley singles victory, Drake surrendered only 10 games in the other five singles matches after sweeping the three doubles matches.

Bradley will try to earn its first Valley win of the season Saturday when the Braves visit UNI (10-6, 0-1 MVC) in a noon contest at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo.  Following Saturday's match against the Panthers, Bradley will play four of its final five dual matches at home, beginning next Saturday (1 p.m.) against Creighton at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
