Made his first career appearance Feb. 27 against Toledo, allowing one earned run on one hit in 2.0 innings pitched ... After making only five appearances in his first two years, Kenneday has emerged as a late-inning stopper for the Braves and is second on the staff with 24 appearances ... Boasts 29 strikeouts against just eight walks in 31.0 innings.

High School
A fixture at Northside (Ill.) Prep, Kennedy was a three-year starter on the mound and at shortstop for coach Tony Santosstefano and the Mustangs ... Earned all-conference honors as a junior after posting a 5-2 record ... Hit .523 with eight homeruns, six triples and nine doubles during his junior campaign ... Turned in two noteworthy pitching performances as a sophomore: a 19-strikeout, no-hitter and a 17-strikeout, one-hitter ...
