Eddren McCain joined an exclusive club last season by becoming just the fourth freshman in program history to lead the team in assists for a season ... Previously, only Charles White (1989-90), Billy Wright (1992-93) and Daniel Ruffin (2004-05) led the Braves in assists as freshmen.

2008-09 - Freshman
Tops among the Bradley freshmen by averaging 25.0 minutes and 5.7 points per game ... By starting 29 of Bradley's 36 games, McCain started more games than any Braves freshman since Luke Jackson also started 29 games during the 1986-87 season ... With 111 assists, McCain joined Charles White (1989-90), Billy Wright (1992-93) and Daniel Ruffin (2004-05) as the only freshmen to lead Bradley in assists ... Twice led the team in scoring (18 points vs. Butler and 14 in the second game against Indiana State) ... Turned in a tremendous all-around game in the opening round of the CIT with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals against Austin Peay.

A four-year starter at point guard, McCain led Reserve Christian High School to four straight Louisiana Class C state titles ...A two-time all-state selection, McCain averaged 21.8 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 7.0 apg and 3.3 spg during his junior season ... After ripping down 16 rebounds in the semifinals, McCain contributed 24 points and eight boards in the 2007 state championship to earn game MVP honors ... Averaged 20 points, seven boards, 10 assists and four steals during Reserve Christian's 10-0 start in 2007-08.
