2013 Season (Sophomore): Started 47 of the 50 games she played in, making 34 starts in right field … Fifth on the team with 23 runs scored … Ranked third with 10 stolen bases on 11 attempts … Reached base 42 percent of the time leading off an inning … Named to the all-tournament team at the Tiger Invitational after going 8-for-11 with five runs scored and a pair of stolen bases while helping Bradley to the tournament title … Had a team-high five stolen bases in MVC play … Started the final 16 games of the season. 

2012 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 28 games, seeing the bulk of her action as a pinch runner ... Made five starts, splitting time between the outfield and right side of the infield ... Had three pinch hit opportunities ... Collected her first career hit in the win against Western Michigan.

High School: A four-time letterwinner in softball, she was a two-time team MVP and was a two-time all-state selection ... Twice earned Bureau County Republican Player of the Year honors ... Hit .414 as a senior, following a junior season in which she owned a .500 batting average with seven home runs, 37 RBI and 12 stolen bases ... Boasted an impressive .833 batting average with a double, triple, two home runs and 11 RBI during the IHSA Tournament as a junior ... Also lettered in basketball, setting the school season record for three-point field goal percentage (48.8%).

Personal: The daughter of Thomas and Amy Burgess, Brittany was born in Peoria, Ill. ... Has a younger brother: Adam (19) ... Plans to major in biology.
