At Bradley
Transferred to Bradley for the 2011 season from Wabash Valley College and worked his way into the weekend rotation by the middle of the league season ... Earned a spot in the rotation by going 2-0 with a 2.22 ERA in four midweek starts ... Earned his first career victory in his first career start March 23, 2011 versus SIU Edwardsville by limiting the Cougars to one run on four hits in 6.0 innings... After being roughed up as a reliever in his 2012 season debut, Doerr has been solid in 11 starts, going 4-2 with a 3.93 ERA as a starter....Has not allowed more than four runs in any of his appearances this season... Has allowed more than two earned runs in just three of his 11 starts.

After earning a preseason #5 national ranking, Wabash Valley finished one game short of advancing to the NJCAA World Series with a 50-12 record in 2010 ... Teamed with fellow Brave Danny Gifford at Wabash Valley College.

Posted a 22-11 pitching record during his high school career while helping Civic Memorial HS to the Elite Eight in 2006 ... A two-time, first-team all-area selection by the Alton Telegraph, as well as a two-time all-conference pick ... Added second-team all-area honors from the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the Belleville News Democrat ... Also played football in high school.
Personal
The son of Denny and Kim Doerr, Tory was born March 25, 1990 in Edwardsville, Ill. ... The youngest of three siblings, Doerr's brother is Kyle Arakaki (30) and his sister is Kea Arakaki (28).
