Bradley A.D. Honor Roll: Spring 2012

At Bradley
Last name pronounced "shook" ... Drove in seven runs with a pair of home runs in the first game of the May 1 doubleheader versus Calumet, the second-most RBI's in a game for a Brave in program history and the most since Ed Bland set the mark in a 1928 game ... Drove in nine runs in just three games May 1-2.  Schuch appeared in 24 games while starting 16 during the 2010 season...Took over as Bradley's starting right fielder Feb. 26, 2011 and has now started 88 games the last two years in right field. In the 2012 season, Schuch leads the Braves with 18 multi-hit games. 

High School
Schuch patrolled the outfield for coach Tim Lyons at one of the most successful baseball programs in state of Illinois, Brother Rice (Ill.) High School ... Helped the Crusaders win three Chicago Catholic Blue League titles and was a part of three regional, one sectional and one super sectional championship ... Hit .455 as senior, including a 23-game hitting streak, and received all-conference and all-state honors ... Earned all-conference honors after batting .396 with 36 RBI's, eight doubles, 28 runs scored and 11 stolen bases during his junior campaign ... Hit .328 as a sophomore and helped Brother Rice to a fourth-place finish at the state tournament ... The Crusaders went 119-30 in Schuch's four seasons as a prep player ... Also played basketball for two years and was a member of the Brother Rice honor roll.

The son of Steve and Kathy Schuch, Bob was born Dec. 23, 1990 ... Has three siblings, Steve (26), Kristine (22) and Lauren (19) ... Academic major is undecided.
