PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Athletics supporters in the Chicagoland area can take advantage of Braves Club benefits focused on their geography with the creation of the Chicago Chapter of the Braves Club, which was announced today.

“The relationship between Bradley and the city of Chicago goes back to the earliest founding days of the University,” said Bradley Director of Athletics Dr. Michael Cross. “Missouri Valley Conference scheduling now guarantees that the Braves will play in Chicago multiple times annually and makes this a natural opportunity to strengthen the ties between Bradley and our loyal Chicago supporters. This is a special opportunity with unlimited potential for all involved.”

Outside of Bradley University’s base in Central Illinois, the Chicagoland area is home to the school’s largest concentration of alumni, approximately 16,000, and with the addition of Loyola University Chicago into the Missouri Valley Conference, the Braves annually are guaranteed multiple sporting events in Chicago.

Modeled after the existing Braves Club giving structure, the Chicago Chapter will feature four giving levels with increasing benefit packages, beginning with the Friend level ($125-299). All four giving levels will receive entry to Chicago Chapter Braves Club Pre-Game Parties; a Braves Club merchandise packet to include an adidas Climalite t-shirt, lapel pin and window decal; a membership card; invitation to special events; and discounted tickets to Braves Club events. Braves Club Chicago Chapter membership dues also may be applied to annual Bradley men’s basketball season-ticket maintenance.

Additional benefits at the Bronze ($300-699) level will include a four-month subscription to the Bradley All-Access audio and video streaming portal for viewing of Bradley Athletics events through BradleyBraves.com. Silver ($700-899) membership will add entry to the Braves Club Pre-Game Parties in Peoria, as well as entry to the Braves Club Room and red-carpet concessions lines for all men’s basketball games at Carver Arena, the four-month streaming subscription and two tickets to five Bradley Athletics events in the Chicagoland area this season: Missouri Valley Basketball Tipoff Oct. 30 at Loyola Chicago, Volleyball at Loyola Nov. 9, Men’s Basketball at Milwaukee Dec. 7, Women’s Basketball at Loyola Jan. 19 and Men’s Basketball at Loyola Feb. 6.

Membership at the Gold ($900+) level will include the Peoria pre-game parties and access to the Braves Club Room and red-carpet concessions lines at Carver Arena, a 12-month Bradley All-Access subscription, four tickets to each of the Chicagoland events and priority for postseason tickets.

The Missouri Valley Basketball Tipoff will bring each of the league’s 20 men’s and women’s basketball head coaches, as well as the preseason all-conference players, to Chicago for the annual media day activities. The luncheon program, which will be open to the public, will include a MVC Basketball update from Commissioner Doug Elgin and a National Media Panel discussion about the state of college basketball.

The first 16 Chicago Chapter Braves Club members to join at the Bronze level or higher (minimum $300) will receive a complimentary ticket to the 2013 MVC Basketball Tipoff.
