PEORIA, Ill. - The Bradley Braves Club invites area golfers to support Bradley Athletics and celebrate a 3-day summer weekend by participating in the 38th annual Braves Club Classic, supported by OfficeMax Workplace, Friday, June 13.
The 2014 Braves Club Classic will be played at the new Metamora Fields Golf Club, an inviting, links-style course playable for golfers at every skill level that was designed by 13-time professional golf winner D.A. Weibring and lead architect Steve Wolfard. An opportunity for an early start to the weekend, this year's event will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start June 13 at Metamora Fields.
The 38th annual golf outing is one of the most popular social events on the Braves Club calendar and benefits more than 200 student-athletes representing Bradley's 15 NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics teams. Funds raised by the Braves Club help provide critical academic support for Bradley student-athletes and provide a foundation for providing a distinctive education and championship experience.
Registration is $1500 per foursome, which includes greens fees for all four golfers, two golf carts, four lunches, refreshments on the course, four tickets to the evening banquet, four Braves Club adidas wearables, recognition in the event program and a tee hole sign to promote a business or individual brand. Individual golfers may register for $375.
