Baseball Game at UIC Cancelled

CHICAGO – Tonight’s college baseball game between Bradley and Illinois-Chicago has been cancelled due to an inclement weather forecast and a make-up date has not yet been determined.

The Braves (11-16, 1-5 MVC) will return to action this weekend by hosting Missouri Valley Conference rival Wichita State (18-15, 4-2 MVC) for a 3-game series at Peoria Chiefs Stadium. The series is scheduled to begin with a 6 p.m game Friday night and will continue with a 2 p.m. game Saturday and a 1 p.m. contest Sunday.

Among the weekend promotions, Friday will be Morton/Bartonville Community Night, Saturday will be High School Team Day and Sunday will be a Youth Baseball Day. High school coaches interested in having their teams attend Saturday’s game should email their roster to by Thursday in order for the players to receive free admission and youth players 13 and under wearing their Little League uniforms will receive $1 admission Sunday and the opportunity to run the bases after the game.
