PEORIA, ILL. – Bradley Athletics is sponsoring a bus trip to Evanston for Thursday’s first-round game in the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship when the Braves visit Northwestern.
The bus(es) will depart Renaissance Coliseum at 3 p.m Thursday and will return immediately following the game. Cost is $20 for members of the Red Sea student support group, $25 for non-Red Sea Bradley University students and youth (eighth grade and under), $30 for Braves Club members and $35 for non-Braves Club members. The fee includes round-trip bus transportation, snacks and beverages during the trip and a game ticket.
Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made by 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at Renaissance Coliseum (309-677-2625). The ticket office will open at 8:30 a.m both Tuesday and Wednesday and closes at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Bradley University students may utilize Quick Cash to purchase their tickets.
Bradley (13-6-2) punched its ticket to a seventh NCAA Tournament appearance by winning the Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Soccer Championship this past weekend at Shea Stadium, capping the tournament with a 1-0 win against regular-season league champion Missouri State in Sunday’s title game. Thursday’s NCAA Tourney game is a rematch of Bradley’s 3-2, overtime win at then third-ranked Northwestern (10-7-3) Oct. 2 at Lakeside Field.
