Bradley Athletics is excited to announce the addition of a mural at the Peoria Civic Center, celebrating the history of the Bradley men's basketball program. The new artwork replaces the Bradley branding located on the exterior wall outside the Great Hall entrance facing the Marquee Parking Lot.

The piece features more than 250 images from the history of the program with the composite forming the shape of the Bradley B-Shield logo. Many of these images were discovered in Bradley Athletics archives or originally were published in Bradley's yearbooks – the Polyscope (1901-1949) and the Anaga (1950-2006).

Attempts were made to locate and include team pictures from every year of the program, as well as images of every season's leading scorer and individual Missouri Valley Conference award winners. Some gaps in images do exist prior to 1940 but every accessible photo in those categories was utilized.

"Bradley Basketball obviously has a rich tradition and has been a point of pride for Peoria for more than a century," said Bradley Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Reynolds.  "Not only is this creative new display a tribute to the history of Bradley Basketball, but it is reflective of the connection between Bradley University and our community."

Installation of the artwork was completed on Thursday. The Braves are back in action on Dec. 13 when hosting Little Rock at 7 p.m. at Carver Arena.
