It's that time again. With the calendar shifted to January, it's time to look back and for fans to vote for which Brave they believe had the best month of December.

Sophomore Darrell Brown of the men's basketball team and junior Shunseere Kent of the women's basketball team are the two nominees for Bradley Athlete of the Month in December.

Each month, fans have the opportunity to vote for which Brave had the best month in their respective sport. Voting is open until Friday at 3 p.m. and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves twitter account.

Darrell Brown • So. • Men's Basketball • Memphis, Tenn.
• Led the Braves to a 5-3 mark during the month – averaging 15.3 points, 4.5 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals, while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from 3-point range
• Scored in double figures in all eight December games, marking the longest streak by a Brave since 2013-14 and the second-longest active streak in all of Missouri Valley Conference
• Tallied a season-best 24 points in the 19-point victory against Northern Iowa, including 11 points in a key second-half 22-3 run that turned a four-point deficit into a 14-point lead
• Registered the first points-assists double-double by a Brave in eight seasons with 11 points and a career-best 10 assists at Chicago State

Shunseere Kent • Jr. • Women's Basketball • East Point, Ga.
• Averaged 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals as she helped Bradley to a 4-2 record, which included a win against defending Summit League champion Western Illinois and BU's first MVC-opening victory since 2008-09
• Scored in double figures in three of the last four games with 12 points at 21st-ranked Green Bay starting the stretch.
• Tallied 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with two assists and a season-high six steals in the MVC opener at Illinois State, helping Bradley to its largest margin of victory in the series since 2001-02 and biggest road win over the Redbirds since 1994-95
